Yorubas constitute approximately 30% of the total population of Nigeria.

Their culture is very rich and they are characterized by the use of glass beads and their craftsmanship. An example is the Yoruba Royal Chairs. In ancient times, they were used by the kings and queens of the Yoruba people in West Africa. Their designs and symbols denote wealth, power, strength and wisdom.
